Cultural Events Committee


Introduction:

As is the case every year, the Cultural committee was formed at the beginning of the academic year. There was a fair chance given to all the students who expressed desire. There were a lot of subtle changes that the college saw in terms of cultural activities. Normally, the Committee sees to it that there are various cultural activities conducted throughout the year.

Functions of the cell:

  1. To provide platform to students to exhibit their talents.

  2. To provide entertainment to students.

  3. To showcase their talents to outside world to get recognition.

  4. To promote a dynamic cultural heritage that is preserved, used and developed.

  5. To inculcate leadership qualities among students.

  6. To provide platform to faculty to exhibit their talents.

Facilities of the committee:

  1. A seminar hall is provided to students for showcasing their talents.
  2. Transportation will be provided for all the students and faculty attending the event.
  3. Provides disciplinary actions for security purpose.
  4. Provides refreshments to participants.

Roles and Responsibilities of the committee members:

Committee coordinator:

  1. Coordinator and faculty members shall discuss and decide the year plan for the events.

  2. Coordinator assigns responsibilities for faculty and students.

  3. Coordinator and faculty members coordinate with the students and conduct events

  4. Committee coordinator solves the interdisciplinary issues and takes necessary measures.
